Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the development of the innovative educational environment of the university in the formation of the readiness of future engineers for professional activity. In the context of rapid changes in the technological sphere and the requirements for the qualifications of specialists, it is necessary to constantly review approaches to the content of education and integrate innovative teaching methods into the educational process. The key aspects of the formation of an innovative environment implemented by the Department of Radio Electronics and Electric Power Engineering of Surgut State University for the training of future engineers in the fields of training/specialty: “Information Communication technologies and communication systems” (ITSS) orientation (profile) “Corporate information communication systems and networks” and “Electric Power and Electrical Engineering” (EE) orientation (profile) “Electric power systems and networks”. The article analyzes the university's experience in building a multi-level adaptive model of students' readiness for future professional activity. The results of the study, according to the author, prove the importance of creating an innovative educational environment of the university, contributing to the effective training of highly qualified engineers. The author defines the formation of readiness for professional activity of future engineers as a complex structure process that includes academic training, as well as the development of practical and personal skills such as teamwork, self-development and self-education, leadership skills.
