Abstract

The article, based on archival materials, presents an integral picture of the pedagogical education system development in the Bashkir ASSR in 1917‒1941. Levels of education and types of educational institutions were characterized. Three levels of education were formed in the system of pedagogical education: primary, secondary and tertiary. Primary education system included teacher training courses. Secondary education was represented by a network of teacher training colleges. The system of tertiary education included pedagogical and teacher training institutes. Stages of the pedagogical education system development were distinguished: 1) 1917‒1920 – the organizational period (formation) of a new, Soviet system of pedagogical education; 2) 1921‒1933 – the period of development of the designated education; 3) 1933‒1941 – the period of formation of pedagogical education. The curricula and programs of educational institutions, as well as methods and techniques of teaching subjects were analyzed. The content, forms and technologies of training specialists were disclosed. Much attention was paid to moral, physical, labor and aesthetic education. Personal materials of students and teachers were analyzed. Main trends were identified; features of the development of this system due to cultural, historical, political, economic and ethno-cultural conditions were identified. The positive experience gained by pedagogical education, which is important for the modern education system, was highlighted.
