Abstract
One of the priority directions in pre-school education is the developing subject-spatial environment (hereinafter referred to as the DSSE). DSSE in preschool education presupposes specially created conditions that are necessary for the full development of pupils of a preschool educational institutions (hereinafter referred to as PSED Institutions). The conditions in which the child is located are formed from the content and organization of the environment. The content means the objects, equipment and materials from which they are made. The organization of the environment means the concept of handling space. The basic requirements for DSSE and content of it are set forth in the Federal State Educational Standard and SanR&N 2.4.1.3049-13 "Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the device, content and organization of the operating mode of preschool educational institutions». For the correct construction of the DSSE, the head, a psychologist and a teacher must take into account these requirements and the specifics of the childhood. This article discusses theoretical, practical and methodological foundations for the formation of the subject content of the environment, it also identifies the main criteria and indicators for evaluating materials and equipment in PSED Institutions. The article disclose the nature of definition «materials and equipment of DSSE and PSED Institutions» by the decomposition method into four basic definitions. The DSSE analysis performed in the article will help managers and teachers of pre-school educational organizations to analyze the existing situation, identify the shortcomings and eliminate them. The article contains tables with a detailed description and assignment of points for each indicator of the DSSE. To get the final grade, the scores of each indicator are added and form the final grade of a group room. The article provides comments on each of the possible final grades. As a result, readers gain some insight on to the detailed characteristics of the analyzed space of the preschool educational institutions.
