Abstract
The article analyzes the features of mythologization of past in А. М. Remizov`s autobiographical prose based on the book «Iveren`». Modern literary studies of Remizov`s autobiographical prose focus on two aspects – artistic features, essence of autobiographical hero and specificity of «autobiographical area». The relevance of this article is dued by attention of modern philological science to autobiographical prose in general and also to features of mythologization of this genre. The purpose of this study is analyze of features of mythologization of the artistic area of autobiographical book «Iveren`». The appeal to this artistic text is due to its insufficient study. To achieve this goal, we used methods of mythopoietic, hermeneutic, structural-semiotic and biographical methods. Originality of this research is in refinement of category of memory in A. M. Remizov's oeuvre, and also to disclosure of the concept of «life-creating myth». The result of this study showed that A. M. Remizov comprehends the features of his creation, reveals writer's sources, and also origins of his individual creative mythologism in his autobiographical book «Iveren`». Realizing memory as a multi-layer, Remizov singled out several of its types – «congenital», «associative» and «concrete-historical». These features of writer`s creative memory determined the multi-level structure of artistic area of book «Iveren`», so far as each type of memory creates its own text area. So, for example, the mythological area generated by «congenital» memory is organized on principle of fairy tale – the hero passes through a series of tests, during which his initiation takes place, he receives an award (a writer's gift) and returns to his home. The author of this article believes that A. M. Remizov creates his «life-creating myth» similar to ancient myths, is characteristic for which development along a circle, the connection of the end and the beginning of narrative. This compositional regularity is reflected in plot of autobiographical book «Iveren`».
